The Seeed Studio SenseCAP S2105 is a battery-powered wireless LoRaWAN® soil sensor that simultaneously measures soil moisture (volumetric water content), soil temperature, and electrical conductivity (EC) using FDR sensing — the essentials for precision irrigation and crop health.

Soil EC indicates salinity and influences nutrient availability and microbial activity, so the S2105 gives a fuller picture than moisture alone. With up to 10-year battery life, an IP66 enclosure rated −40 °C to +85 °C, and 2–10 km LoRaWAN range, it's built for harsh outdoor agriculture — and sets up in minutes via Bluetooth, no tools or wiring required.

3-in-1 Soil Sensing (Moisture, Temp, EC) FDR soil moisture (0–100% VWC, ±3%), temperature (−40 to +80 °C, ±0.5 °C), and electrical conductivity (0–23 dS/m, ±5%) — measuring water, heat, and salinity for smarter irrigation and fertigation.

Long-Range LoRaWAN, One Global SKU Built on the Wio-E5 (LoRaWAN v1.0.3 Class A) with 19 dBm Tx and −136 dBm sensitivity for 2 km urban / 10 km line-of-sight range. A single SKU supports 7 frequency plans (EU868, US915, AU915, AS923, KR920, IN865, RU864).

10-Year Battery & Rugged IP66 A replaceable D-size ER34615 Li-SOCl₂ battery (19 Ah) gives up to 10 years of operation. The IP66 enclosure (−40 to +85 °C) shrugs off UV, heavy rain, and dust, with a 5 m soil-probe cable for flexible burial depth.

No-Code Bluetooth Setup Built-in Bluetooth lets you configure and update the sensor in four steps using the free SenseCAP Mate app — no programming. Validated through six reliability tests for dependable performance in extreme conditions.
