The Milesight CT303 is a specialized LoRaWAN® Smart Current Transformer designed for industrial and commercial energy management. Engineered for the 300A range, this model eliminates the most common barrier to IoT energy deployments: power supply. By utilizing induced current power technology, the CT303 operates entirely without batteries or external wiring when connected to an active Phase A conductor. Its non-invasive split-core design allows for rapid installation without de-energizing facilities, making it the ideal tool for retrofitting energy intelligence into existing electrical infrastructure.

Technical Integration

The CT303 is fully compliant with LoRaWAN® Class A and supports global frequency bands (EU868, US915, etc.). It features Over-the-Air Firmware Updates (FUOTA) and threshold alarm capabilities for instant notification of electrical anomalies. When powered by the testing conductor, it requires a minimum primary current (starting from 15A $A_{rms}$ depending on reporting interval) to report data; for lower current measurement, the unit can be powered via its USB Type-C port.
