The Milesight TS201 Series is a compact, cost-effective LoRaWAN temperature sensor built for accurate monitoring in harsh and regulated environments. It comes in two variants — the TS201 (temperature-only, DS18B20 probe) and the TS201-TH (temperature + humidity, CMOSens® MEMS probe) — both with a detachable, IP67-rated food-grade stainless-steel probe for field self-calibration.
Certified to EN12830 for cold-chain recording and supporting HACCP workflows, the TS201 measures from −40 °C to +125 °C and runs for up to 10 years on a single replaceable battery. It is configured tool-free via NFC using the Milesight ToolBox app, and supports Milesight D2D gateway-free device-to-device control and FUOTA remote firmware updates — ideal for cold storage, pharmaceutical, food-processing, and industrial monitoring.

What's the difference between the TS201 and TS201-TH?
The TS201 measures temperature only (DS18B20 probe); the TS201-TH measures temperature and humidity (CMOSens® MEMS probe). Choose the TH variant for server rooms, archives, or any site needing humidity too.
What is the measuring range and accuracy?
−40 °C to +125 °C. The TS201 is ±0.5 °C (−10 to 85 °C); the TS201-TH is ±0.2 °C (0–60 °C) with humidity 0–100% RH at ±2% RH.
Is it certified for cold-chain compliance?
Yes. The TS201 is EN12830-certified and supports HACCP requirements through continuous monitoring and reliable, auditable data logging.
How long does the battery last, and is it replaceable?
Up to 10 years (SF7/US915) or around 9 years on EU868, on a single replaceable 2700 mAh ER14505 Li-SOCl₂ battery (10-min interval).
Can the probe go inside a freezer?
Yes — the probe measures down to −40 °C, while the device body operates from −30 °C to +55 °C. An optional glass-bead thermal buffer bottle improves reading stability against door-opening fluctuations.
Does it need a LoRaWAN gateway?
Yes for cloud/server reporting (LoRaWAN Class A; works with standard gateways and network servers). For gateway-free setups, Milesight D2D enables direct device-to-device control. A gateway is sold separately.
