The RAKwireless 5 dBi Fiberglass Antenna (RAKARG18) is a professional outdoor omnidirectional antenna engineered for LoRaWAN gateways. Tuned for the EU868 band (863–870 MHz), its 5 dBi gain extends coverage and improves uplink/downlink reliability — ideal for rooftop, pole, and mast installations.

A rugged fiberglass radome protects the antenna in harsh outdoor conditions, while the one-piece connector-to-body design increases durability and weather resistance. The standard N-Type male connector makes it compatible with most outdoor LoRaWAN gateways and low-loss coaxial cabling.

Any LoRaWAN gateway with an N-Type female (or matching adapter) RF port operating on EU868 — including most RAKwireless, Milesight, Kerlink, and Dragino outdoor gateways.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

Yes — it has a weatherproof fiberglass radome and a durable one-piece connector design intended for outdoor pole, mast, and rooftop installations.

Do I need a cable?

For mast/rooftop mounting away from the gateway, use a low-loss N-Type coaxial cable (sold separately). Keep the run as short as possible to minimise signal loss.

Which frequency does it support?

This model is tuned for the EU868 band (863–870 MHz). A 902–928 MHz version exists for US915/AU915 regions.
