The Eastron SMART X96-5 is a high-specification multifunction three-phase power meter designed for professional panel-mounted applications. With MID B+D certification and Class 0.5 accuracy, it provides high-fidelity data suitable for billing and critical energy management. This CT-operated (1/5A) unit captures a broad spectrum of parameters—including voltage, current, power factor, and total harmonic distortion (THD)—delivering a complete profile of electrical system health via its vibrant back-lit display or remote RS485 communication.

Technical Integration

The SMART X96-5 is a 1/5A Current Transformer operated meter, fitting standard 96x96mm panel cut-outs with IP51 front protection. It supports multiple wiring configurations, including single-phase two-wire (1P2W) and three-phase four-wire (3P4W). Configuration is simplified through free software or on-device buttons, allowing for quick setup of Modbus addresses (1-247) and CT ratios.
