Description

The Seeed Studio PV-12W is a 12W monocrystalline silicon solar panel designed to provide reliable, off-grid power for outdoor IoT deployments. With a 12V working voltage, 1A working current, and >19% cell conversion efficiency, the PV-12W delivers stable solar energy generation across a wide operating temperature range of −20°C to +70°C. The panel is built with a lightweight aluminium alloy frame rated to withstand 2400 Pa wind pressure and 5400 Pa snow load, making it suitable for permanent outdoor installation in challenging environments. It includes a 1.5m cable with a 6-pin waterproof connector for tool-free connection to compatible data loggers and IoT gateways, and ships with a mounting bracket for rapid deployment. The PV-12W is designed as the primary power accessory for the Seeed SenseCAP Sensor Hub 4G Data Logger, enabling completely grid-free operation in remote monitoring applications.

Rugged Outdoor Construction Lightweight aluminium alloy frame rated for 2400 Pa wind pressure and 5400 Pa snow load. A unique anti-freeze and anti-deformation design prevents water ingress into the frame. Operating temperature range of −20°C to +70°C with a 15+ year design life.
Plug-and-Play 6-Pin Waterproof Connector Ships with a 1.5m cable and 6-pin waterproof connector (GND on pins 4–6, VCC on pins 1–3) for direct, tool-free connection to the Seeed SenseCAP Sensor Hub 4G Data Logger and compatible IoT devices. Enables rapid deployment without additional wiring components.
Mounting Bracket Included Includes a dedicated mounting bracket for fixed installation on poles, walls, or enclosure frames. Modular design supports quick disassembly for repositioning or maintenance with no specialist tools required. The panel can be customised in scale and orientation for site-specific deployments.
