The Milesight GS101 is a carrier-grade Residential Gas Detector engineered to detect Methane (CH4) leaks with industrial-level reliability. Designed for smart homes, apartments, and commercial kitchens, the GS101 utilizes a high-sensitivity semiconductor sensor with a 5-year life expectancy that requires no calibration. When gas concentrations reach the 8% LEL threshold, the device triggers a powerful 85dB buzzer and visual LED alarms. Beyond local alerting, the GS101 provides active protection via a relay output and solenoid valve output, allowing it to automatically shut off gas lines or activate ventilation fans. With support for the Milesight D2D protocol, it can also trigger other local IoT devices in under one second, ensuring safety even if the central network is offline.

Active Safety & Automation

Milesight D2D Controller The GS101 acts as a D2D controller to instantly trigger sirens, light switches, or vent fans locally via LoRa, bypassing the need for gateway processing.
Hardware Output Controls Equipped with one normally open relay (250 VAC/10A) and one 12V solenoid valve output to provide physical fail-safe gas isolation.
