The Milesight IoT range covers LoRaWAN sensors for indoor air quality, temperature and humidity, occupancy and people counting, leaks, level and distance, and energy metering, plus controllers, smart switches, thermostats and LoRaWAN gateways. Several sensors also come in NB-IoT or 4G versions for sites without LoRaWAN coverage.

Milesight is a common choice for smart buildings. Several of its gateways include a network server that can pass sensor data to a building management system over BACnet or Modbus, so a small or mid-sized building can run without a separate cloud platform.

Do Milesight sensors work with other gateways and network servers?

Yes. Milesight LoRaWAN sensors follow the LoRaWAN standard, so they work with gateways from other makers and with network servers such as The Things Stack or ChirpStack. Order the frequency band for your region: EU868 in Europe.

Can a Milesight gateway send sensor data straight to my BMS?

Several Milesight gateways have a built-in network server that publishes sensor readings as BACnet or Modbus points, so your building management system reads them like any other device. The gateway's product page says whether it supports BACnet and Modbus.

Can you prepare Milesight devices for my LoRaWAN network?

Yes. If you send us your LoRaWAN network server details with the order, we can pre-provision the devices so they are ready to add to your network.
