The Milesight WS558 Smart Light Controller is a revolutionary LoRaWAN® device designed to centralize and simplify lighting control in various environments, including offices, shopping malls, hospitals, and schools. This smart controller allows for the management of up to eight lighting circuits, reducing the need for multiple switch panels and lowering wiring costs. The WS558 is available in two versions: the LN Type and the Switch Type, catering to different electrical circuit requirements.
A key feature of the WS558 is its remote and time-based ON/OFF capabilities, which can be controlled from a smartphone. This feature enables users to automate lighting schedules, making lights function efficiently and contributing to electricity consumption optimization. The LN Type model also provides power consumption measurement, helping to save power and lower electric bills.
The WS558 supports Milesight D2D protocol featuring LoRa, allowing communication among different Milesight LoRaWAN® node devices without a LoRaWAN® gateway. This innovative feature enables multi-functionality and enhances the efficiency of the lighting system. Additionally, the WS558 comes equipped with overcurrent protection, ensuring the safety of the connected lights and the controller itself.
The power-off memory function is another significant aspect, allowing the WS558 to resume its previous operating status after a power restoration. This feature ensures that settings are not lost in case of power failures. The device can be easily configured using NFC, USB Type-C, or a downlink, and its flexible installation options include wall mounting and DIN rail mounting.
