What is a Class 1 noise sensor?
IEC 61672-1 defines two accuracy classes for sound level meters. Class 1 has tighter tolerances than Class 2 and is usually required for regulatory and legal measurements. Each product page states its class.
How do CESVA noise sensors send data?
Over IP connections such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi or a mobile network, depending on the model. Check the product page for the connection options.
Do noise sensors need calibration?
Periodic checks with an acoustic calibrator are good practice for any sound measuring instrument. CESVA makes Class 1 and Class 2 acoustic calibrators for this.
