IMBuildings people counters count visitors as they pass through doorways and corridors, in both directions, without recording images. That makes them a good fit for offices, retail stores, libraries, public buildings and washrooms where cameras are not welcome. Facility managers use the counts to plan cleaning, ventilation and space use, and to see how busy each entrance really is.

IMBuildings FAQ
Do IMBuildings people counters capture images?
No. They count people without cameras, so they record no images and no personal data.
How do they compare with camera-based people counters?
Beam-style counters are simple, private and battery powered, and work best at doorways and corridors. For counting in open areas or by zone, see the AI and ToF people counters in our
people counting collection.
Can you prepare IMBuildings counters for my LoRaWAN network?
Yes. If you send us your LoRaWAN network server details with the order, we can pre-provision the devices so they are ready to add to your network.
