What does LoRaWAN add to a smoke alarm?
A standard alarm only sounds in the room. A connected Nexelec alarm also sends its alarms over LoRaWAN, so someone responsible for the building can see them remotely.
Are Nexelec smoke alarms certified?
Yes. Each product page lists the standards the device meets, such as EN 14604, the European standard for smoke alarms in homes.
Can you prepare Nexelec devices for my LoRaWAN network?
Yes. If you send us your LoRaWAN network server details with the order, we can pre-provision the devices so they are ready to add to your network.
