Description

The Milesight EM400-MUD is a Multifunctional Ultrasonic Distance Sensor for LoRaWAN applications including smart waste management and parking occupancy. With a detection range of 3cm to 450cm and a small blind zone, it provides level data even when containers are nearly full. Beyond distance, the EM400-MUD integrates a 3-axis accelerometer to detect if assets have been moved or overturned, and an NTC temperature sensor to trigger alarms in the event of fire. Its IP67 enclosure and internal damp-proof coating support stable operation in outdoor or underground environments.

Level & Status Monitoring

Application Modes Switchable pre-set modes for Standard, Trash Bin, and Parking Lot scenarios tune the internal algorithms to each use case.
Low Power Design Dual 9000mAh replaceable batteries give up to 10 years of service life, reducing maintenance for large deployments.
