The Dragino WSS-22 is a robust industrial-grade sensor engineered for the simultaneous measurement of wind speed and horizontal wind direction. Built to withstand extreme outdoor conditions, it provides high-accuracy data across a 0–60m/s range with a resolution of 0.1m/s. As a vital component for smart agriculture, renewable energy, and infrastructure safety, the WSS-22 utilizes a standard RS485 Modbus RTU interface, allowing for seamless integration with the Dragino WSC2-L Weather Station or any industrial PLC system.

Technical Integration
The WSS-22 is designed to integrate natively with the Dragino WSC2-L weather station hub. This combination allows for long-range LoRaWAN® transmission of wind metrics to cloud platforms like The Things Stack or AWS IoT Core. It supports a flexible 5–24V DC power input and features a low operating current (13mA @ 12V), making it compatible with solar-powered IoT systems.
