The Sensoterra Single Depth Probe is a professional-grade LoRaWAN® sensor engineered for the most demanding agricultural and landscaping environments. Built with a unique, hammerable design, it can be installed in seconds—even in hard, compacted soils—without the need for specialized tools. By providing high-accuracy Volumetric Water Content (VWC%) and the Sensoterra Index (SI), this probe empowers growers to make data-driven decisions that save water, reduce pumping costs, and maximize crop yields.

Multi-Year Battery Integrated lithium battery provides 5 to 8 years of life with a default rate of 24 uploads per day.
IP67+ Waterproof Built to survive machinery, flooding, and extreme temperatures (-20°C to +60°C).

Available Depth Configurations

Select the ideal probe length for your specific crop or soil profile:

• 15 cm (6"): Ideal for shallow-rooted crops, turf, and greenhouse pots.
• 30 cm (12"): The standard for field crops and vineyards.
• 60 cm (24"): Best for monitoring deep root zones and drainage.
• 90 cm (36"): Specialized for deep-rooted trees and hydrological studies.

Technical Integration

The Sensoterra probe is fully LoRaWAN® 1.0.4 compliant, supporting ADR and OTAA for secure, encrypted data transmission. Data can be exported via a robust REST API or viewed instantly through the Sensoterra app and web monitor. Standard calibrations for 20+ common soil types are included.
