The Milesight AM102 & AM102L are compact 2-in-1 LoRaWAN sensors for accurate indoor temperature and humidity monitoring. Using Digital CMOSens® MEMS technology, they deliver reliable readings for offices, museums, healthcare, server rooms, and other climate-sensitive spaces.

The AM102 includes a 2.13-inch E-ink display for at-a-glance readings, while the AM102L is a display-less version with even longer battery life. Both are tiny, tool-free to set up via NFC, and run for years on replaceable batteries.

Core Capabilities

High-Accuracy Temp & Humidity Digital CMOSens® MEMS sensing delivers ±0.2°C temperature accuracy (0–60°C) and ±2% RH humidity accuracy at 25°C, across a −20–60°C / 0–100% RH range with 0.1°C and 0.5% RH resolution.
Optional At-a-Glance E-ink Display The AM102's 2.13-inch black & white E-ink screen shows live temperature and humidity for instant local checks; the AM102L omits the screen for a lower cost and longer battery life.
Up to 9-Year Battery Life Two replaceable 2700 mAh ER14505 Li-SOCl₂ batteries deliver up to 7 years on the AM102 and up to 9 years on the AM102L — minimising maintenance across large fleets. A USB Type-C option is also available.
Tool-Free NFC Setup & Compact Mounting Configure in seconds via NFC with the Milesight ToolBox app. At just 68 × 65 × 20.5 mm, it mounts almost anywhere with 3M adhesive tape or anti-theft Torx wall screws.

Technical Integration

Both models operate on LoRaWAN® Class A (OTAA/ABP) across CN470, EU868, US915, AU915, AS923, KR920, IN865, and RU864 bands, configured tool-free via NFC (Milesight ToolBox app) and downlink commands. They integrate with Milesight IoT Cloud and the Development Platform and work with standard LoRaWAN network servers (e.g. The Things Stack, ChirpStack), feeding data into HVAC, thermostats, and Building Automation Systems via a gateway. Power is from 2 × 2700 mAh ER14505 batteries (or USB Type-C). The IP30 enclosure (68 × 65 × 20.5 mm) mounts with 3M tape or anti-theft Torx screws and operates from −20 °C to +60 °C (E-ink screen 0–40 °C). What does the AM102 measure?

Temperature and relative humidity only (2-in-1). For CO₂ add the AM103; for a fuller air-quality picture (CO₂, TVOC, PM), see the AM307/AM308.

What's the difference between AM102 and AM102L?

Same sensors and accuracy. The AM102 has a 2.13-inch E-ink display (up to 7-year battery); the AM102L has no display and lasts up to 9 years.

How accurate is it?

±0.2°C temperature accuracy (0–60°C) and ±2% RH humidity accuracy at 25°C, via Digital CMOSens® MEMS sensors.

How is it powered?

By two replaceable 2700 mAh ER14505 Li-SOCl₂ batteries, with a USB Type-C option. Battery life is up to 7 years (AM102) or 9 years (AM102L).

Does it need a LoRaWAN gateway?

Yes. It reports over LoRaWAN® (Class A) to a gateway and network server (e.g. The Things Stack, ChirpStack, or Milesight UG56/UG65). A gateway is sold separately.

How is it configured and mounted?

Tool-free via NFC with the Milesight ToolBox app; it mounts with 3M tape or anti-theft Torx wall screws.
