Description

The Omega TJ1-CAXL series represents a major technological advance in high-temperature measurement. Utilizing the exclusive Super OMEGACLAD® XL sheathing, these Type K probes are engineered to virtually eliminate the calibration drift common in standard Inconel-sheathed thermocouples. With a massive 6.0mm diameter probe and a heavy-duty transition joint, this sensor is built to survive the harshest industrial kilns and furnaces while maintaining precise accuracy over a significantly extended lifecycle.

Engineered Performance

Superior Thermal Stability Advanced XL sheathing limits drift to less than 2.8°C over 25 weeks at high temperature.
Heavy-Duty Transition Features a robust 304 SS transition joint with a spring strain relief for maximum cable durability.
Stainless Steel Overbraid 1-meter PFA-insulated lead wires protected by a rugged SS overbraid to resist abrasion and heat.
Industrial Capacity Capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1335°C (2400°F) for short-term exposure.

Product Variants

We offer the TJ1-CAXL-IM60U heavy-duty probe in three standardized lengths to suit varied furnace depths:

TJ1-CAXL-IM60U-150: 150mm (6 inch) probe length.
TJ1-CAXL-IM60U-300: 300mm (12 inch) probe length.
TJ1-CAXL-IM60U-450: 450mm (18 inch) probe length.

Applications

These probes are ideal for high-stakes thermal processing, including semi-conductor manufacturing, aerospace heat treating, and industrial glass production. All versions feature Ungrounded junctions to prevent electrical interference and are terminated with stripped leads for easy integration into LoRaWAN temperature transmitters or industrial controllers.
