Built on the Raspberry Pi CM4 platform and featuring a 7-inch 1024×600 LCD touchscreen, it delivers real-time visualisation of uplink and downlink RSSI, SNR, and packet loss rate — empowering network engineers and installers to evaluate LoRaWAN coverage with precision during commissioning, site surveys, and maintenance operations. With a built-in GPS module, offline map support, and heatmap visualisation, the RAK7590 provides the spatial context needed to assess signal distribution across entire deployment areas. A 20,000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery delivers over 11 hours of continuous operation, making it fully field-portable.

The RAK7590 integrates with the Field Test Data Processor Extension on WisGateOS 2 for backend data parsing and performance analysis, forming a complete end-to-end LoRaWAN testing workflow. It communicates via an external SMA LoRa antenna and features built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, and BLE antennas. A Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) port enables wired network connectivity, while USB Type-A and MicroSD interfaces support peripheral attachment and firmware management.
